Hey hey!

So, things haven’t really changed with the house. Many arguments with the real estate agency and many pissed off mornings, and yet still things have not been fixed. We are awaiting on someone to come out and fix the phone line… still. Awaiting for someone to come out and fix the roof… still waiting… still waiting for everything We’re all kind of on the verge of not caring about it we have to move because we’re all just sick of the house and the fail.

On a happier note, our happy household (plus Kristen ) have decided to take up a ‘healthier’ lifestyle and have all started playing WiiFit… man, it’s addictive. I think I’ve played like 30 minutes everyday that I’ve played it. There’s like Step… and boxing… and a CRAP load of Yoga poses. It’s awesome! I’ve lost like 1kgs. We’ve also basically started eating home cooked meals every night and lunch and everything. It’s good. I think its working… and if not then too bad I guess. At least we get good tasting food and strong leg muscles hahahahaha.

On a totally opposite topic, and probably one that will make our efforts fail horribly, Cupcake Camp Adelaide is coming up in November. For those that don’t know, Cupcake Camp Adelaide is basically just a family day where people get together to share their love for cupcakes and raise some money for charity. OMFG speaking of cupcakes, I made a batch of dairy-free cupcakes for practise for said Cupcake Camp and they were sooooo yummy. I made orange icing for them and ooooooooommmmmmmmggggggg… was sooo good. Ya know those biscuits with the orange cream in between them? The icing tasted just like that. Was yummo! *Is proud of self* hahahahahahaha. The next batch I will be making will be gluten-free cupcakes, again in preparation for Cupcake Camp, but also for because my in-laws are coming over to stay next fortnight and I want to have some cupcakes to snack on when they stay. My Mother-in-law is gluten-intolerant (well Shane says ‘gluten-unacceptable’ but he’s silly ) and I thought it would be nice to make some cupcakes for her.

Well, I’m out for the night. Keep it chilled… BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

So months ago I made a post where I mentioned quite briefly that ‘liveable house is now liveable’…

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Oh sorry, I think I may have lost my shit there So ok, we have since had a few issues regarding the new house and the condition it is in. But here is a quick update. We have requested to get the ‘illegal’ phone line repaired as it is not only incorrectly wired but it is also causing a buck load of connection issues with our ADSL. But that’s just the base of the issues. The lights in the house (which are downlights and total arses to replace) keep blowing and I swear we only have like 2 lights left in the house. We will soon be forced to live by torch light *imagines the guys having light saber fights at 3am with torches* hehehehehe. OK, well anyway. Next issue, the house is slowing turning into an indoor pool. LOL yeah uh, the roof leaks… and the floor… and the lights… and I’m pretty sure in the walls… and the cats… oh wait not the cats O_o…
But yeah, that’s the update on the house that was dubbed as being totally awesome a few months back.

In other news, I officially start uni on Monday… and I am as nervous as crap! Seriously, I have not studied for about 4 years… properly for about 5 hahaha (year 12 was a joke) and I am scared to death of the thought of exams and essays and the pressure all over again. But at the same time, I am so excited and really looking forward to it. Looking over the general overview of the first unit I am doing is intriguing me. I did realise that it will basically be like year 11 English Studies… just a heck of a lot harder. But I am up for the challenge. But if anyone has any words of encouragement, advice… anything, feel free to tell me as I think I will be needing it.

Oh oh oh… Shane got his learners on Friday *does a victory dance on his behalf* and I am happy. This means he can get his P’s and I don’t have to Nah, it means that he can drive around freely like I know he’s wanted to do for years now. You can drive now, babe!

Well yeah, that’s about it right now. My mind has just emptied… if I think of anything else I will be sure to post again. But I shall return!

Man, my head is ouchies from cruising in the hills but, man, it’s been a pretty satisfactory night!

Ok so, I think the plan was chicken for dinner but it didn’t defrost in time or some lame excuse like that so someone (I’m guessing Monnie) said “Hogsbreath kgo!” (ok well maybe it wasnt in those words but you know what I mean). ANYWAY… so I’d never been before and therefore was like… ‘uh… uh…’ and looked like a total douchebag while ordering coz I had no idea what I was doing but OHMIGOD!!! Steak was awesomes… thats right… AWESOME! And curly fries were curly… mmmmmmmm curly fries.. oh sorry… moving along

So we’re driving home and I’m like ‘I feel like going driving’… so next thing you know we’re on our way to Mt. Crawford. We made a few slow stops along the way (and there are going to be a few people with some surprises when they wake up) but then got there in record time. And Scott taught Monnie what a hillstart was all about

So yeah… fairly pointless post… and realised half way thru that not only have I spoken in abbreviations, spoken like a 16 year old and said almost nothing… I did a truck load of these >>>…….<<< again…

Ok so that last post was a bit random and I apologise. Just rather excited lol. Very happy with my iPhone 3GS… tis a white 32GB one … which means its awesomes! hahahaha… and thats all that matters.

But yeah anyway, this last 7 days has been fairly… well there has certainly been a lot of shocks.

With nobody winning last weeks $50 million oz lotto… it jackpotted to $90 million and 2 lucky people have won like $50 million each… congrats to them lets hope they are people that need it and deserve it.

Friday was a shocker of a day for reasons that grabbed the entire worlds attention. The great King of Pop, Michael Jackson, died at age 50 from a cardiac arrest. He was a legend in the music industry and he will be missed. His music touched the lives of many generations, including mine, and although his antics and the controversies that surrounded him later in his life, lets hope he is remembered for his greatness… and not for his misfortunes.

Another death on Friday was the beautiful and highly talented actress, Farrah Fawcett, who passed away after the battle with cancer. Again, another person who was iconic in the entertainment industry, her talent and beauty was one of a kind.

Today was a good day for me as I received my new iPhone! I waited downstairs all morning for the courier to rock up and basically as soon as I gave up and carried all my stuff upstairs and got comfortable, settled in and started to do other things, the courier arrived. Which for him wasnt great timing because it was absolutely bucketing down with rain.

But yeah, thats all I really have to say right now.

So hi…

We are finally all settled in at the new house now… all our stuff is basically packed away and downstairs is all clean and tidy. We still have all of Martin and Rachels stuff but the ideas of getting it all to them are all in limbo at the moment so we just have to see whats gonna happen. But yeah… liveavle house is now liveable *dances a lil*

Oh yeah… we were ‘kinda’ informed yesterday that an employee at my work has swine flu. Not sure as yet whether it is confirmed to be true or not but I guess we shall just wait and see because I’m sure that logically they would have to inform us that we were working with a person who had contracted it. But oh well. But it was trippy because it was like timing… I was talking to a couple of the checkout workers about if someone at our work had contracted it then they would have to close the store down or something because of the fact that we have contact with customers all day… unless they get us to wear masks… whick would be a bit of a deterrent to customers I guess… hrmm… didnt think about that one… oh well.

But anyway.. on a different topic, I’m gonna hopefully be taking some holidays soon just to like well… take holidays. Not sure what I’ll be doing as yet… but the last proper time off I had from work was for the wedding and that was the best time of my life but that was also 8 months ago. And I know I’ve had weekends off since then but I want to be able to have like a week off just because… just to do nothing… well clean maybe… or live at the gym all week hahaha… make up for the last 2 months that I didnt go … oh man and I felt it when I went back again last fortnight… got on the treadmill and I was buggered after 10 minutes… thats so bad…

and I just realised that there was alot of theses … in that last paragraph and I apologise sincerely. Well maybe not sincerely, but I do apologise. Ok I’m rambling again. You will notice that I do that alot.

Ok, this blog, tbh, really has no purpose other than my opportunity to ramble. I know most people use their blogs to let go and share their problems… but I’m not really one of them. I dont feel the need to spill my emotions out onto a website. I can barely share them with the people close to me. But I guess thats just me. There ya go, something about me… I dont open up to others

Anyway I’m gonna maybe consider getting outta bed and getting ready for work… maybe

So yeah, welcome. I know its been since forever since I made a post and I apologise to the whole… NO PEOPLE that read this but yeah… distraction after distraction. Well not really, just pure laziness

So yeah… been a pretty eventful month and a half since I was last here. Shane, Scott and I went to Lock (somewhere in the middle of the Eyre Peninsula) for my 21st and to see Shane’s family. It was fun. I forgot how much I loved it out there. Its so peaceful and almost untouched… well, ignoring the highways and towns built all over the place lol.

Oh yeah, so anyway we get back and pretty much instantly we’re packing to MOVE INTO OUR NEW HOUSE!!!!! *does a little happy dance* But yeah, we have moved into a 2 storey house with some friends who were also desperate to move out of where they were. It’s awesome. The place has like 6 bedrooms (well 5 now coz we turned the master bedroom into a living room) and an awesome kitchen… and ROOFTOP ENTERTAINING!!! Yeah!!! Party on the rooftoop motherduckers hehehehe… uh I mean… well yeah.. sorry bout that. The cats are getting used to it… Dex loves the stairs. Oh and OMG Kinque caught a mouse last night. It was so funny coz he was just carrying it around the house… then he’d dropped it, let it run a bit, then catch it again lol! It was so cute.

But yeah, It’s pretty awesome. Not cheap but oh well, helluva lot better than the old place. And god knows how but it got the name of the Pirate House or something like that… not sure… maybe its coz we were singing ‘I’m on a boat’ all the damn time…. but yeah *shrugs*

Oh yeah, breaking news…. I’M SICK! Well it’s not really breaking news. I’ve been sick for quite a few days. SWINE FLU!!! Lol not really… I shouldn’t really be joking about that. Swine Flu could quite easily just wipe out our existence. Scott had the idea of just shutting the country down for 7 days and putting everyone on house isolation… anyone who was affected to be given anti-virals and just let it go away. I mean, I’ll be honest that I don’t know much about it but I still think that this is whats needed. If there is a week where nobody is in contact with anyone else that may even be considered to carry it shouldnt continue to spread. But yeah, either way… the human race will survive once again

But yeah… thats my randomness for now… I promise next time I will try and have something worthwhile to say but for now, drive safe! I know I said that for Easter but due to the many lives that have been lost over the last few months it seems appropriate.

So I hope everyone had a happy Easter. I enjoyed my long weekend! Did a whole lot of not much Friday… bit of cleaning and what-not, went to lunch with in-laws on Saturday as mentioned in my previous entry, again did not much yesterday… went did however go for a drive to Pt Augusta last night… and then back again. We didn’t really have much of a reason other than boredom… but it was fun ooooOOOOoooo but we went to the beach today and had fish and chips and just chilled. We attempted to go to St Kilda first but Scottie got frustrated with the amount of people there and the sheer stupidity of some drivers and they bailed on that idea pretty quickly… but we’ll go another day

So after all the fun I’ve had this weekend I’m kinda wishing I didn’t have to go back to work tomorrow. 4 days off has been a bit of a tease. I mean I know I have 4 days off over the Anzac day weekend for my birthday but this was a 4 days off that I hadn’t planned for… I was caught off guard and had to make things up as they came.

But yeah anyway… hope you all had fun, were all safe and all have a nice return to work tomorrow!

Well it’s Easter long weekend, and I am doing… well… alot of not much. Sitting here at our awesomely new huge desk and listening to music. And going out to lunch today with the in-laws.

I hope everyone is safe this easter, especially when driving on the roads. The recent accidents have kinda proven that life is short… I mean, sure if you’re gonna be a douche and drive over 150km/h then you kinda aren’t exactly… well yeah anyway… just be careful people. Oh and don’t eat too much chocolate… I once dreamt that I ate so much chocolate that i became a chocolate person and I melted because I wasn’t refrigerated and it was a hot easter, so just be careful of that

Anyway… HAPPY EASTER!!!

Oh and don’t forget that today is International Talk Like Jeremy Clarkson Day… so make the most of it!

So I upgraded my Sony Vaio for a… Sony Vaio LOL! I basically upgraded my laptop for a newer, younger model It’s still pretty and pink and all shiny and smooth feeling, but it’s pinker and quicker. I don’t understand much of what I’m about to type but it’s a Core 2 Duo or something like that, 3gb ram, 320gb or 350gb hard drive and yeah, alot of other stuff that I don’t really understand but basically makes a really cool laptop. I’ll link you to pics of it here.
I know it’s very pink and I know that it looks fairly girly but I’m loving it!!!

But yeah, on another note Shane got his Auxiliary cable for his car… problem: we can’t work out how to pull the dash apart to install it hahahahahahahahahahahaha… I mean… BAHAHAHAHAHAHA… sorry hun
